Subject: There's not many things I agree with Samuel about, but he absolutely nailed it earlier this week when he showed how absurd it is to argue that someone like Marco could be "exploiting their weakness". What a silly argument that is. They may make mistakes, but I don't think any of those mistakes come out of weakness. A self-made billionaire and CEO of multinational enterprises and his reams and reams of high priced advisers is pretty well-placed to negotiate with a football coach and his agent.
In reply to: Mickey 's message, "For me it seems he is exploiting their weakness in their open desire to keep him. Could they not have been firmer and demanded an answer from him by now ?" on Thursday, May 28, 01:11:48pm

  • They absolutely could have, and, i reiterate what has already been said countless times - there is definitely fault on their part too. None of that excuses Silva, who clearly doesn't have the best for the club at heart, no matter how many times he espouses that he does. He needs to go. • Definitely does. We're hanging around like a jilted partner, waiting for our 'intended' to come to their senses and pledge undying love.... not gonna happen! (NT) -- SCA, Thursday, May 28, 02:01:26pm (NoHost/2.123.71.86)
