This is the most under-recognized part of what happened the last few years. Everyone is obsessed with the amount of outlay without looking at net spend or the retention of key assets. Glasner had an extremely thin squad (solid 1st 11) that was hammered by losses of key players. While we aren't in Europe and aren't the major step up Glasner surely thinks he should have, I don't think he'd look at our transfer business as Palace-like. - I'm another to interpret Marco as having had more control than Glasner had, sufficiently so to at least contemplate prolonging beyond 5 years. But he's without doubt been unhappy about timing, a complaint known to be shared by Slavisa as well as many/most of us. (Whether by Parker, dunno.)       - Like you needed reassurring about how much TK is disliked! Like I have suggested to you before. Is it possible to have SK without TK in some capacity? SK probably wants TK to be the eyes and ears in the club. Someone he can trust, someone he can get to carry out his instructions.
