Subject: We talk about being paid so much per week but I assume that players and managers have highly incentivised contracts with the basic wage being the bare minimum. I can't believe that there's a contract on the table that would pay Silva £11M pa no matter how well the club does. I'm also sure that the contract offer he's not yet signing will be by any standards a generous one. I reckon that if he's still negotiating with the club it's about issues other than pay.
