Big money with right management can achieve. Many have done it. Really significant achievement is lifting meaningful silver with a modest outfit of less than stellar squad such as Ipswich with Alf Ramsey and Leicester's Ranieri or the nearly bid of Roy Hodgson in Hamburg among others making the game of football adapt by innovative application of tactical concepts.
MS has been around big clubs, knows Shad has the right profile and Fulham ripe for achievement. Accepting nominal DoF keeps all on the straight and narrow should be given but squad rebuild by MS can only be compromised if starting afresh with new direction.
