Subject: We've definitely allowed Marco to run the media game on this. But we don't know what's happening behind the scenes to know whether it is truly "dragging out" or "disrespectful to our club." For all we know, the club have long since known it wouldn't agree to all Marco's terms, and they're just letting him get away with the best deal out of Benfica as a thank you for five years of service. Or a PR person has said, "let Marco run around like this and then no one will shed a tear when he leaves."
