Subject: Read an interesting interview with the Times football journalists recently about Southgate and they all mentioned how in depth he is as a manager and leaves no stone unturned. Might be his personality holding him back but all thought after England experience he would now be a good club manager?

  • Agree, having watched ‘Dear England’ have a completely different view of Southgate now. Was interesting to see sceptical players coming on board with his tactics too, they genuinely respected him. Interesting theory in that show as well as to why England lose penalty shoot outs btw.
