Subject: How about we play a different game?

Marz leaned against a dresser in the home he had entered while taking a good look around the place. He was still a bit high from wine and mind altering tobacco, but attributed his strange mood to fatigue. The lustful desires that arose within him only moments ago continued to plague him. If Jeremy hadn't walked in when he did, Marz would now be showing Rowan the best time of his life. Feeling the elf's body finally relax under his expert manipulations had been an awesome turn on. He enjoyed crumbling the defenses of someone like Rowan, who always seemed to be the aggressor in sex, because he knew how great it felt to give up control to someone else occasionally.

For as long as he could remember, Marz had always taken the dominant roll with his bed partners since he was an absolute control freak. It had been impossible for him to assume a passive state in the bedroom until he met Lady Ittana. The bold noble woman had mastered the art of mixing pleasure with slight painful teasing and was more than happy to show a man the benefits of submitting to her will. Marz sighed when he remembered how she tied his wrists to the bedpost. He quickly shook off any further memories before they could take him to a lustful frenzy.

"I'm supposed to be hunting for shit," he muttered, pushing away from the dresser to investigate the drawers it held. A grin spread across his mouth upon finding a thimble and a hand mirror. He had three of the needed items in his possession now and was certain he'd be the winner of Corum's silly game.

After stuffing the items in a pouch he moved to a tall wooden cabinet, throwing open the door and eyeing the cluttered shelves it held. He sensed, rather than heard, Tristan enter the house and that surprised him. Maybe the ability to sense one's partner when nearby was one of the benefits of true love. He continued to examine the items on the shelf while Tristan told of how he used the crystal ball to find things on Corum's list.

A shiver of alarm ran through Marz when the dragon mentioned seeing someone going at it like animals just moments ago. Since he didn't get very far with Rowan, he knew Tristan wasn't talking about them, yet that didn't eliminate his worry. He finally relaxed when his lover slipped his arms around him and professed his love.

Marz turned, meeting Tristan's lips in a tender kiss. "I love you too," he murmured a moment later. A frown caressed his face when he saw Urchin crawl out of a boot and scurry out the door. When his eyes fell upon the crystal ball on the bed, he tensed slightly then pulled out of Tristan's embrace. "I didn't realize that Urchin had blonde hair," he said while striding over to the bed. He palmed the clear globe, staring into it for a moment before shoving it in his pocket. Knowing how Tristan had employed the thing made him aware of how dangerous it could be. Although he had no real intention of getting close to Rowan again it seemed like a damned good idea to keep the crystal ball out of his lover's hands unless he was beside him when he used it.

Marz plastered a confident smile on his face then returned to Tristan's side, tossing an arm across his shoulder. "So, who did you see going at it like animals?" He was a bit shocked to hear that the dragon saw Ravin and Isobel instead of Rowan and Jeremy since he fully expected the elf and the boy to make love after he left them alone in the house. "I'm bored with this treasure hunt," he quipped, after kissing the tip of Tristan's nose. "Let's go back to the campfire. I feel a little weird and maybe a mug of java will help me get back to normal again."

They gathered up the items from the bed and left the house, joining Tia near the fire a short time later. "Did you give up the hunt already?" Marz asked. He pulled Tristan down to sit beside him then filled two mugs with java.

"Well, I would have kept searching," Tia said, "but I think it's impossible to find all that stuff on Corum's list!" She giggled then took a sip of wine, her eyes falling upon Jeremy and Rowan as they approached the campfire.

Immediately, Marz noticed the rosy glow that covered the otherworldly youth's face and knew that Rowan was the reason for it. He met the elf's eyes then slipped his arm around Tristan's waist, pulling him close. "Let me make love to you in the water of the hot spring later on." Although he spoke into his lover's ear, his eyes remained riveted on Rowan. Before Tristan could say anything Marz turned and kissed him deeply while the others looked on.

Jeremy gulped, the sight of the handsome pair locking lips arousing him again. "I got me a feather and a small lock of sorta blonde hair," he said loudly, hoping to alleviate the awkwardness of the moment. "I think it's time for some candy!" He knelt down and dumped a mess of chocolate bars onto the ground, telling everyone to help themselves.

Marz sucked on his lover's lower lip for a moment before pulling his mouth away and taking a sip of java. "Let's do something while we wait for the others to show up with the items they found. Anyone got any ideas for more games?"

Jeremy lit up a sweet smelling cigarette then shrugged. "Well, there's always charades, Scrabble, Monopoly, Life, spin the bottle, strip poker, or truth or dare."

Since Marz had no idea how to play half of the games Jeremy mentioned he decided to let someone else choose. He slid his hand along Tristan's thigh; gently kneading the firm muscles while he continued to take sips from his java mug.
