Tia was surprised to hear Corum start talking to her about Rowan. Was the attraction she felt for the elf so obvious? Apparently it was therefore she'd have to go about changing things. Tia didn't want to be thought of as some silly adolescent who kept pining over an unobtainable man!

"Of course Rowan likes me," she said, staring at her companion. "And I like him too. We wouldn't be friends if we didn't like one another, Corum!" She tossed a stone into the water, grinning at the little ripples it made along the surface before it sank. "Anyway, I wouldn't want to get involved in a deeper relationship with someone like Rowan, because he's not finished sowing all of his wild oats yet."

Tia laughed then reached out to rumble Corum's hair. "And I haven't even begun to sow any of those wild oats yet!" She turned at the sound of a commotion and watched in fascination as Justin chased Marz around the oasis. A sense of excitement gripped her and she jumped to her feet with a shout. "GO MARZ!!"

The merc tossed her a dirty look before he lunged at the ex-gang leader who managed to give him the slip again. Tia couldn't stop giggling when Justin ended up flying over Marz's shoulder, landing in the water with a loud smack! She had to agree with the ex-gang leader when he remarked that it was time that the merc got another bath.

Tia jumped when she saw something crawling around at her left side then relaxed when she realized it was a large turtle and not the scorpion that she had imagined. "Look Corum," she said, pointing to the thing as it crawled into the water. "I think it has got the right idea. That sun is getting pretty hot, so let's take a swim!"

In the blink of an eye, Tia stripped down to her undergarments and dove under water. Her eyes took in a number of pretty fish and more of the turtles before she surfaced. Hopefully, there weren't any krakens around this time! "Come on in, Corum. The water is nice and warm!"

She was unaware of the assassins that had climbed into the taller trees around the oasis while it was still dark, and who now watched the proceedings below them. One of the assassins was also an accomplished mage, and had cast invisibility spells upon himself and his brethren. The mage was very interested in the dark eyed youth that now stood naked far below him because of the enormous amount of wild energy that radiated from him.
