PHT is doing a great job during the war, but don't you think it might be better listening if there was at least one voice on that station that did not tow the party line? Why can't someone on that station take issue with Bush and give us an intellectual challenge? And why are they playing Hannity reruns on Sunday night talking about things several days old when he is on live on Fox at the same time dishing us the latest. Hello..someone should wake up there.

Particularly disappointing to me are the recent shows by the previously sane Dom Giordano. He recently had excellent interviews with Ed Asner and Mike Farrell in which everyone was respectful to everyone elses viewpoint, and legitimate issues were discussed. Dom properly cut off callers who just wanted to engage in silly name calling, and a genuinely interesting debate was had. Now, weeks later, both Asner and Farrell are in Dom's "field of 64 anti-war blowhards." So much for respectful disagreement.

By the way, anyone else see the soaking, dripping irony in a talk radio host referring to others as "blowhards"? Oh, sweet irony! Thy name is Dom!

[> [> [> Well, in defense of Dom, Mike Farrell is polite and well-spoken, but like ~all~ anti-war protesters I've heard, he has ~no~ solutions to the problem. Yet he's still out there insisting he's right. Based on what? That's the textbook definition of a blowhard. (Did I miss the part where he described a workable solution?) -- Scott Tilde, 00:25:24 03/25/03 Tue

[> [> [> [> I don't think that anything in that post really does much to defend Dom's hypocrisy on this. Speaking of which, last night he decried that war protesters were being "disrespectful to the president". From a talk radio host, THAT is truly priceless. -- Rockford, 10:36:24 03/25/03 Tue
