Talk Radio Hosts Endorse Pataki

Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002 6:55 p.m. EST

Tom Marr, heard on WOR in New York and WCBM in Baltimore, says it's all the way with Pataki.

"George Pataki all the way. McCall is a hapless liberal and Golisano is trying to claim he's a conservative. But his presence in the race is designed to allow a Democrat to win. As the 'dean' of all talk radio, Bob Grant, would say, Golisano is a fake, a phony and a fraud."

. . .

But Jeff Katz, heard on WPHT in Philadelphia, disagrees. He tells NewsMax:

"With Andrew Cuomo's failure and Hillary Clinton's machinations behind the scenes, there's lots of interesting facets. Carl McCall's camp has run a terrible campaign and the plotting to now blame it on racism is shameful. Bottom line: George Pataki has done a great job as governor and deserves to be re-elected."

[> "But Jeff Katz disagrees." Huh? Both Katz and Marr endorsed Pataki and said he would win. Where's the disagreement? -- "Vince from Villanova" (Words mean things.), 00:12:13 11/01/02 Fri
