After kissing Amanda good luck, and making a note to scrap his current computer, The Great Enigma(!) made his way to the large octagon shaped arena that Tayliana Harusaki(sp?) had set up for their battle. Someone's been watchin' Ultimate Fighting Championship a lot, Iggy thought. I think I'm gonna like this fight.

"I hope you don't mind that I brought Duncan with me, do ya?" asked Iggy. "I wanted him to watch this."

"Not at all," Tay replied. "He's more than welcome to stay." She waved to the anthropomorphic Emperor Penguin, and he waved back while sucking on a lollipop. She then turned to see her opponent unbuttoning his trenchcoat to check for a few things.

"After those last battles with Star X. and Merek Steele," he told her, "I feel I should be prepared." Strapped across his gray turtleneck sweater were two belts, with holsters filled with potions, runes, and other various magical artifacts. One in particular caught the attention of both fighters. It was a leatherbound book, about as thick as a college dictionary, tethered to the belt across his waist by a golden fobb chain - the kind usually employed to hold pocket watches. On the cover were the words "Ex Libris Arcanium," in glowing golden letters.

Iggy glanced through the book to be sure of all the spells and counter-spells he planned to use. No more winging it. No more using direct attack spells only. He was gonna play this match smart. Against one who was half-Sayin and half- Juraian, he had to.

"Ladies first, as always, Tay," he said. He lied. He wanted to see what she could do before really losing himself in this battle. There was more on the line in this duel than she could, or should, ever know.

*!?!*
Your move. By the way, how do you pronounce your name: "Taye" or "Tie"?
