Subject: I thought maybe I should clue you in on my existense!

Hi guys!!! I am sooooooooooo sorry I haven't been on in forever!!! We have been VERY busy with house stuff and work stuff. I have been coming in here just long enough to read everyone else's posts, and leave! At least I know what is going on in your lives, and J-SKee knows what is up with me. SO, she could clue you in if you really needed/wanted to know.

Anyway, house news- the first house we had a contract on fell through. So, we went looking on Sunday for another one. It was definitely meant to be this way. We had nothing but trouble with the other guy from the start. He was really a pain, so when he hit our tolerance limit, we said the house just isn't worth it, and got out of there as fast as we could. So, the very same day, my mom calls and says, "I just talked to another realtor, and he has a townhouse in Stonehenge that is going on the market next week. Are you guys interested?" It turns out it was listed at $112,900 (the other one was listed at 111,900) and was MUCH bigger. Like 600 square feet bigger. The main difference is that it has a full basement which is great since we are both MAJOR pack rats!!! One room in the basement is finished, so there is like a storage/laundry room and a den down there. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a formal living room (which we just bought a brand new couch for!!!), a living room, kitchen, dining room, and an attic. It also has a really cute garden spot out front. It was soooooooooo cute that we made an offer last Sunday (the same day we looked at it). These people are SOOOOOOOOOOOOo nice! What a great change after the last guy. The accepted the contract as it was written and said that they will fix anything that the inspection turns up (that is where all of the problems started with the last one). So, now we just wait for closing day and hope our landlord lets us off with cheaper rent for only being here for 2 1/2 weeks out of the month! Her rent is outrageous, and with Doug and Eliz moving out, we can't really afford it since we are saving money for a down payment.

Anyway, enough (more than enough) boring house stuff!!! I have some strange kitty news. Our littlest cat, Ariel is either pregnant or has tumors in her tummy. Her tummy is huge!!! She was in heat when she was like 5 months old (actually a little younger than that), then suddenly she wasn't anymore. SO, I think she is pg. I actually hope she is! I would rather give cute little kitties to someone than have her be really sick!!! The only problem is, I know me, I wouldn't want to get rid of them!!! Hehe! But, I don't really want 4-7 cats either! 3 is more than enough as it is! So, Kimmie, if you want to sneak a little kitty in TUrtle Creek like many others do, I may be able to hook you up pretty soon here! Anners and Silver, you can have one too if you can figure out how to get it there! I figure it won't really be a problem. I am sure someone will take them!

No real other exciting news to share. I am thinking about all of you. I miss you, and I wish I could come visit, but it doesn't look likely with the buying the house stuff. OUr vacation will probably consist of grandmother visiting this summer. We MAY take a road trip with David's family out there, but that is a BIG MAY!!!! I don't think I can take that much time off from work since 1 week would be completely unpaid vacation. I am not really willing to do that considering our house payment will be one whole paycheck. DAvid is getting a raise very soon though. Oh, I guess ther is some exciting news there. A bunch of people got laid off at David's office. Luckily, he wasn't one of them. Actually, they told him he was a top employee and would not be in ANY danger of getting laid off, and that once those people are gone, there will be alot of overtime opportunity in the near future. That spells less David around, but good money. I don't see him much anyway because he is WAY overcommitted at church. So, it wouldn't be that different.

I guess I should go. I am praying for you all! Anners- I hope things improve with Janie. Sounds to me like she just needs to start over with life. Maybe the job loss thing will be good for her in the end. God works in mysterious ways sometimes. Glad you get to see the baby a lot! I see my baby a lot too! I love me some Gavin! Kim got to see him yesterday! She was quite immpressed with my little man! I would attach a pic of him, only I don't know how! ANyone want to share again????

Love you guys!
