Subject: Woohoo!

It's so great to hear from all of you! It may sound silly, but it's a comfort to me at times like this to have constant contact with my buddies, cuz I feel safe knowing that they're safe too. :-)

J-Skee, so glad your mom is back home! I'd spend all my time with my mom too if she'd been gone for a while, especially during this tragic time. Remember to hug and say "I love you" to all your loved ones everyday. I also sympathize with your problem of cleanliness with your roommate. I guess it's not possible to just clean your stuff and wait for it to get dirty enough for her to notice so she would clean it up. If you've been doing it for so long, it might have become a habit for her to just assume that you'll clean it up and not bother with it. Try to talk to her about it if you can. You seem to be having a lot of problems with her so when you said you thought about moving back home with your mom, I actually cheered and said, "Go for it!" I think you'll be so much happier at home and not have to deal with the mind games that your roommate seems to be dishing out all the time.

A-skee, I know you'll be walking and dancing around town again soon so keep up the good work! I'm so happy to hear that your WT is going well. I wish the person helping with the WT would be more attentive to you though. That's just wrong. Hmph. But at least you're taking charge of it yourself.

C-Skee, so good to hear from you again! Don't be a stranger, kay? Some people don't change even when the world changes around them and sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's bad. In this case it's bad because they obviously haven't learned the meaning of kindness even if it's just everyday small things in life. I hope you receive kinder callers in the future. :-)

The speech was nerve-wrecking today but I got through it somehow. One down, six more to go. Eeek!

For our next assigment, we have to choose a charity and try to persuade our imaginary company to donate money to that charity. Can you think of any charity that isn't too well known but is well known enough that general people would know about? Like the Red Cross is out of the question because that's too well known. Also all the charities that are involved with the WTC are too well known too and might be picked by another person to present and I don't want to do the same thing as others do. So if you have any idea, let me know!

Love and hugs,
Silver
