You can NOT believe the things they show on TV in the wee hours of the morning.

I am sitting here watching a show called, "Who Wants to Be A Princess?" shown by what other network than sleezy FOX.

LOL.

I'm not sure who's more pathetic, the Prince or the ladies participating. LOL, the Prince is an economist and journalist! How romantic?! LOL! Okay, the dude is from Rome. Ooh, they're about to bring him out. The suspense!

Okay, he's no Prince Charming, but not a Beast either. He seems to be the typical, chauvanistic charmer. You've just gotta wonder why he's staging something like this to get a date? He selects the girl by putting a $40,000 necklace on her. I wonder if she feels cheap? LOL, the girl is taller than him! I can't believe there are such things. Haven't FOX learned from their last mistake, "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire?" Of course, that brought them more publicity. At least for this show, they didn't say "marry", it's just a date and we'll "see" how that goes.

This is just the Dating Game on a grander scale. The host is really good though. He's very quick on his feet, witty, and very humorous. Never seen or heard of him before but they should hire him for the Emmy's or something. I'm sure he'll get bigger jobs after this show. But who watches something like this in the wee hours if they don't have a quiz tomorrow? Not executive producers of Emmy's, that's for sure. At least FOX didn't air this during primetime. It would have gotten a lot of criticism, no doubt.

Entertainment over. Boooooo. It was cheap entertainment, but entertainment nevertheless. It was like watching, the making of a princess.

We had thunder and lightening and rain today. It was awesome. The first week of fall and the rain gods are already hard at work. Earlier, the electricity went off suddenly, then there was a flash of lightening, and then the electricity came back on, and then the LOUDEST BOOM crashed over my head. Oh my gawd, I thought a bomb exploded right outside. I was SPOOKED. Lightening and thunder from a distance is cool, but when it's right above you, that's a completely different story. But it went away and everything seems calm outside again. I'm so glad we had rain though, since we haven't had any for a very long time.

Too bad most of the rain is acidic to some extent. Did you know how badly polluted our air is? We treat our sky like a garbage dump, literally. We can't see it, but it's there and we're breathing it in everyday and we're not doing anything to stop it. Crazy stuff.

Okay, final review of material for quiz and I'm off. Night!
