Hello, Lesley,

James Appleby was born 1824 in Manchester, Lancashire, England and died Dec 1866 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. He married Emma Brown 18 Jun 1844 and had 6 children: Emaline b. 1845, William b. 1848, Charles b.1849, James b. 1851, Frances b. 1858, and Kate b. 1866.

James Appleby (1824)is my 3rd Great Grand Uncle. His brother, Thomas William is my 3rd Great Grandfather. Their father's name is John Appleby, married to Susanna Hanson. James' occupation in 1851 and 1861 was a Beer Seller and Comedian in Liverpool at the Frogg's House. I think he owned it.

James Appleby, Sr.
