Hungry? Been sent to bed without food? Never fear! Just follow these instructions:

Get someone to chop 3/4 way through a small tree.

Tie a rope around it and around a stake, so it won't fall over.

Put a scale on a stand near a rope, and tie a large knife to one end, so it will hit the rope.

Put lots of food on the other end.

Sit right where the tree will fall and stare at the food until you succumb and grab it.
