Iguess I was lucky then to have purchased Buffys Vanguard released " It's My Way ! " Album in 64 when it came out here in the USA before Donovan recorded his version of The Universal Soldier and LBJ went after the tune because it was adopted by the anti war movement.
Too bad nobody bothered to read the album notes she wrote up for this release since the song was not an anti war song but rather a song of war and peace and personal responsabillity.
It did adapt well though and became an anthem for the antiwar movement.
