If you are in the position of being what is conventionally regarded as advantaged in terms of many or all of the categories you outline (and I would say that Batman and Superman better fit all the examples you give) then you are in a position which permits you to adopt a heroic stance with less chance of falling flat on your...face. Most physical disabilities will preclude the assumption of an action hero persona and in my experience the attitude that 'you could be, like, Professor X' doesn't cut much ice. Escaping ones' limitations, even to the point of ignoring the laws of physics is a large part of the allure of the heroic genre, this is one of the things I like about FRP games - they impart the ability to escape physical limitations and acquire super-powers. The ability to successfully perform impossible feats of daring-do is enticing to us all and explains the popularity of films and shows like BtVS which hinge upon the extraordinary powers of the central characters. In terms of the Spidey imperative impossible is a relative term and we regularly see the fruitless attempts of mere mortals to halt the progress of super-vilains when our hero armed with strength, speed and spider-sense 'really' can dodge bullets and save the day.
