The shadow holding Virgil and Lyn, along with Dugan's two friends, disappeared leaving Avon and Dugan to fight the rest of the shadows. Now that his two unconscious comrades were out of the way Dugan let loose with his carbon based pistol. He fired rounds at each creature as they lunged for him. The dance took him from the original rooftop to another, and then another as Avon fought several creatuers as well.
The battle left holes in the buildings and the shadow creatures, thought the creatures were much stronger than the buildings. Dugan's shots slowed them down, and even took off parts of their figures, but they didn't stop. Firing another round Dugan found himself at the edge of the third roof, with no more buildings to jump to. In an act of desperation and training he fired three shots at the creatures, one to his 10 o'clock, one to his 2 o'clock, and one straigt up the middle. After the first and second shot Dugan charged through the center of the creatures. In their delapidated (OOC i hope that's the word i'm thinking of) states they were two slow to grab him. Dugan lept from rooftop to rooftop. As he jumped he took out another clip for his carbon based pistol. Once it was loaded he fired two shots directly behind him and made one last jump back to the original rooftop and Avon.
"Hope you've had better luck than I have," shouted Dugan as he turned around to fire more rounds into the creatures who were on the rooftop behind him.
