Looks like I might be joining you in triton-rebuild-land...

Though the [rec||depr]ession on the wind seems to be bringing in a nice crop of ever-cheapening sailboats. By the time I get to my final pick (probably sometime next month) the costs of keeping a boat in slip over the winter might just result in some real bargains. I have seen prices fall 50% in a number of cases, mainly the massmarket condos, but also a few real boats in the 1960-1980 range I am looking at. There are a few (including an ericson 35 - a little larger than I really want) that have just today appeared on craigslist with no price and "make an offer" overtones after languishing on yachtworld for months in the $20-30k range.
