On Saturday I'm going to visit someone called "the vet". What does that mean?

Martha, you tell her. No Edmond, you do it, it's no good asking Dan, he's a wimp. For heavens sake, I'll do it - Jadzia, the vet is a man or a lady in a white coat. He might stick a needle in you, or if you are unlucky, he might stick something up your bum! He'll look at you and tell you how beautiful you are, but you know that anyway.
