Date Posted: 14:55:55 09/07/06 Thu In reply to: dealer 's message, "..a taste of perfection.." on 19:58:27 09/05/06 Tue Patience and a desire to learn everything the man stated about the gorgeous mare silenced the normally gregarious woman. She listened with her head tilted slightly, gaze rivited on Chantilly. Her experience was mainly based in dressage, though she knew how to guide an inexperienced horse over a jump. Unfortunately, she'd never attempted grand prix sized obsticles. Her Show records proved impressive indeed, and Taylor let out a whoosh of breath in an effort to absorb all the information. She laid a gentle hand on Chantilly's shoulder, moving in closer to her as hse bent, hand running down the back of her leg, to squeeze gently just above her fetlock. She wasn't insistant, she gave hte mare amoment to respond, however she was firm, giving the mare little choice. While she checked the mare's hooves and bone composition, Taylor directed another question toward Mr. Cohen. Her records are impressive enough. She sounds like a well schooled mount. How is she in dressage, and over a cross country course? My main interest lies in three day eventing. How's her speed, has she got good endurence? And how is her form? Can she pull herself together and be collected at every pace? What does hse know in the way of Dressage cues? Her questions were asked softly, but in rabid fire succession, never giving Mr. Cohen a chance to answer before she was onto the next question. Taylor was captivated by three day eventing. Her paint stallion, Doc, was an alright three-day eventer, he had hte flash and sparkle that hte dressage judges loved, but he wasn't horribly experienced over obsticles. They were still working on that. Taylor hoped, that one day she'd be able to breed a born jumper to Doc and produce a top notch three day eventer. If not, well, in the meantime, she'd work on Doc's jumping skills. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
