Based on his play this summer, Bob Gibbons and Van Coleman (two of the most respected recruiting guys in the buisiness) have him ranked 69th and RSCI (which takes all of the respected guru's and averages their totals) have Pruitt ranked 73rd. So how is he not a top 100 player? >For the record Cook was selected in the back end of >the first round. Much closer to the second round then >the top ten! Very true, but he was invited to the "green room" at the NBA Draft which means there was no way he'd slip out of the 1st round and was potentially a top 15 pick (as they only invite 16 players). As I've been saying, Pruitt is NOT Bian Cook. But if you are really saying that there are no similarities then you're just plain foolin yourself. Why else would he be the NUMBER ONE option for two of the top 15 programs in the country???? Tom Izzo had Pruitt ahead of Sasha Kaun on his depth chart and that's why Sasha dropped MSU before Shaun had committed to U of I. Is Pruitt as good as BC was in high school? No, BC was a McDonald's AA and I really don't believe Pruitt has a snowball's chance in hell of making that game. Pruitt already is stronger than BC was in high school, but isn't the same athlete. Lastly, Dee wasn't the one who was getting BC his shots, but the reknewed energy BC showed was different than anything he showed from high school thru college. Maybe it was simply just he was now THE guy for IL, but I remeber him getting 15 pts in the first half of a game and finish with 17 durring his jr. quite often. Last year it seemed like he was finally finishing games and maybe it was simply a matter of being in better shape, but I really just think he was having more fun out there last year and I give Dee ALOT of the credit for that.
