He was playing the part of her hero -- her knight in shining armor who was riding to the big bad dragon (her father) and at least attempting to fight him off. See, it didn't matter if he even succeeded in the task; it was the thought that counted. she moistens her lips as her head tilts for those feline eyes to hold his, "More like a lunatic.." Her slender work worn hand gives his a bit of a squeeze before he let the touch drop, "I'll turn into one of those stalker girls out there if you want -- I don't think I'd even mind hiding out in a bush next to your house.." She flashes him a bit of a smile, her head tilting thoughtfully as her eyes follow his down to her own toes.. "Well, if you aren't busy tomorrow and if you want you could come camp out with me in my living room.." Gives him a slight smile, "I'll put up a tent and everything.." And with those final words of his, she kind of felt elated -- as if she finally didn't have to take all the trouble of looking after herself all the time. She had a definite friend.. for the first time.
