Yeah, ha, Liam -- a hero? You've got to be kidding. Well, it was probably a good thing Tex hadn't said anything of that sort of idea aloud, 'cause Liam would have started to believe she was crazy. I mean, an absoulute lunatic sort of crazy. With a forever-shy grin, he pulled a broad arm 'round her shoulders in a loose hug. "I don't know, having someone stalk me might not be so bad... And hey, they aren't my um, 'stalker-girls' they're just... friends. 'Sides, they probably don't even look at me that sort of, y'know... way." Shaking his head as his cheeks flushed, he glancing at a peices of oh-so-decoration graffiti upon one of the stall doors. J+K=Luv, it said. And inwardly, Liam added something to his last pitiful speech, Nobody thinks of me in that way. Just nobody. And that was the truth... He was a loser, s'far as intimate girl-boy relationships went, and it was his own fault. "You and you're ideas," He chuckled. Thoughtful for a moment about the whole idea, Liam finally nodded slowly. "Yeah... yeah. I'll come." But... He couldn't commit to this whole thing without telling her something that he considered very important. Y'know, the thing that made him and Franklin the Turtle pretty similiar, or at least -- that's how he'd thought of it as a sprite. Quickly, and in a low voice, he added, "...But only if you bring a flashlight." Glancing towards the tell-tale adidas stripes that ran vertically 'cross his sneakers, Liam decided to partly explain it all to her while convincing himself that it was manly of him to confess his irrational fears to others. Yeah, manly and stupid -- all at once. Actually, maybe just stupid and cowardly. Yes, definetly just cowardly and stupid... no manliness involved there. "You see, aside from all that shyness and stuff, I um... sort of don't like the dark." Inhaling a deep breath and feeling more like a five year old as the seconds passed by, he added, "I'm not that I'm afraid of it, exactly... It's just... Well, I don't know -- really." Dropping his hands to his sides, he dug them into the pockets of his faded jeans. Ha, and to think he'd ever thought that admitting to the fact that the dark freaked him out was... manly? Well, that was a laugh.
