David opened his rather handsome mouth again, most likely to ask another prying question directed at both Tex and Liam. Before David could even get the words out, Liam tugged on Tex's arm and pulled her 'way and over to the ice-cream counter with a barely-coherent grunt that resembled the word, "escape". Once there and leaning 'gainst the counter, Liam gave her a bit of a boyish grin. "You solved that well back there," He paused, his eyes locking straight onto hers; hazel meets brown. "I didn't even have to say a thing." While glancing down at the 20 or so flavours of icecream, Liam murmured, "And y'know... Thanks. And, sorry about all that -- stuff. They don't know what they're saying..."
