.Owen pityed her, whether he himself was aware of it or not. Her family was hard to deal with, very hard -- and the fact that it all rested on her was enough to make him pity her... The scene before him, made him want to go to her, and just take her in his arms and hold her tightly. In that chair, reading that book, Erica looked vulnerable, and small -- and Owen knew that those two things were not who she was. He easily found the spare chair, and without moving it -- lowered himself into it. Another nod was given as Mrs. Moore started to babble about Ross and Erica's acheivements, "I figured something amazing had happened with her and horses way back when... She's talented with them." Pressing a smile onto his face, he leaned back into the chair -- his eyes glancing yet again, over the bruise that scored itself 'cross Erica's cheek... Oh man, he was going to kill Ethan... He supposed that Ethan was the culprit. Why the fuck would Ethan follow Erica and himself to the hospital, just to beat her up? It pissed him off, royally. It was damned hard to sit still, because he felt the need to bolt from the room and find Ethan, and then proceed to srangle the guy. He watched in silence as Sergent General Moore barked orders at his wife and as she left the rooom, and as Erica difted into silence until being given her own orders: 'READ'.
