Subject: SCANNING

I said I'd be asking for help again probably sooner than either one of us thought. My pinter has a scanner and I've scanned pictures into the computer and printed some of them with no problem. My new question, How do I scan material and then have it appear on the computer (I Microsoft, is that makes a difference) so it can be saved, e-mailed, or in the case of a form filled out? This is really three questions, but it started me thinking after I just saw Cindy G's post about the article in "Smoke" that was scanned and sent to her. No hurry, just curious.

[> That really depends on your scanner. They all work differently. I'll admit I've had trouble figuring out our all in one printer. DH usually helps me. lol If I were in your place, I'd probably just be referring to the owner's manual. Hopefully you still have that. -- JAG Junkie (Ronda), 20:02:16 07/30/07 Mon [1]

[> My scanner scans the image (article or whatever it is) and then saves it on the scanner's software. I just open the software and all my scanned images are there (until I delete them anyway). Then, I can crop them (to get the background out) and just hit the Save As and save the image to whereever I want (usually a folder in MyDocuments). From there, it's just a matter of sending them as an email attachment. -- Sarahsue--I don't have an all-in-one machine though, it's a separate scanner but I imagine they all work pretty much the same, 08:24:48 08/01/07 Wed [1]
