That was very interesting information. I had no idea. It all makes perfect sense to this simple country gal. You're handy to have around! ;)
Oh and I know what you mean about using your quilts. We have always fully used ours as was the intention. I am not blessed to have some that old, but I treasure mine too. They show wear but I'd hate to leave this earth never having taken the opportunity to wrap my Grandmother's loving work around me. :)
