I guess the most interesting character in my life is my wife. I think that Mary Mc is just as pretty as she was when she was young. She has'nt changed a bit. Anyway if you want a short story, I'll just tell you why I like The Waltons so much. It takes me back to the time when I was too young to know what problems were. I am from a family of six kids. Until I was ten, we lived in a small house in rural souther Indiana. Dad was a school teacher and Mom stayed at home so we were'nt rich by any means. I went to a little elementary school out in the country. With eight of us in that small house I remember sleeping on the couch much of the time because of the lack of space. Dad grew up in the depression so he liked the show also. He is no longer with us. I was the youngest of all, four girls and two boys. That is why I like the character Jim-Bob so well. I also have a lot in common with Jim-Bob, I like to tinker with old cars and junk, old radios too. He was'nt the very youngest but he was the youngest boy and I remember being bullied by my older brother and sisters. Nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual things kids do. I seemed to have my head in the clouds a lot of the time too like Jim-Bob. That old house that we lived in still stands and is in better shape than when we lived in it. An older couple lives there now and they really take care of it. I could go on but I better not make this too long, might get boring but there are a lot more similarities in The Waltons and my childhood. Thanks.
