Our children don't always follow good examples. So far our daughter and her husband have been married 14 years. It has been a rough road and they really worry me. Their nine year old daughter is my main concern. She hears them argue. They fuss mostly over money. I think that is one downfall to a lot of marriages. Also they lack God as their center of attention. That's a priority I feel that is lacking. Our sons, 28 and 26 have yet to "tie" the knot. Although they have been "in love" several times. They watched how their dad treated me over the years and they will no doubt be fine husbands one day. They have also learned from their friends what bad marriages can do. I'm glad they are not in a hurry to get married. Love breaks hearts, but it can be an end to all for those who find the right mate.

Our children can surely give us reason to lose sleep. If only we could protect them from pain. First it was my own love life, the excitement of new love that kept me awake years ago. Now it is theirs or the lack of if that keeps me awake. I pray for good Godly women to come in to their lives and love them the way I feel they deserve to be loved and vice versa.
