Waltons friends,

Let me tell you, I do think that "long-term" marriages are getting more and more rare. Our society has become very loose with their morales and values. Their definition of love, relationships, and commitment have become very skewed. God made it very clear in the Bible what He expected from relationships and we have turned our back on that. I think that is why crime and gangs are on the rise. I live in Indiana, and our county is the highest in the state for divorces- how sad. Thankfully, our church is doing something about it. We offer free marriage counseling by trained counselors. I pray that it is making a difference.
I am blessed to still be married to my college sweetheart. We have been through a lot, we've been married for almost 14 years. We have three wonderful boys and we are in it for the long haul. God has truly blessed us. Please, if you are struggling in your marriage, don't wait get help before it is too late. You will be glad that you did- so will your family, and so will God.
