Subject: My father thought The Waltons was too liveral
In reply to: Tim S 's message, "Review for Season 6 on Amazon" on 05:11:19 03/29/08 Sat

The review by "1" was a joke (Why is anyone responding to it?), but my father really did beleive that The Waltons was too liberal. He didn't like the '70s morality/politics depicted in the show. I agree with him. I'm not as strict as he was--he didn't like the whole show because of the few silly ideas--but there really were some hair-brained '70s ideas floating around in The Waltons. It was a show about the '30s, but it was obviously written with a '70s persepctive.
