I don't remember the Waltons original run, but I do know how you feel. When the Waltons was on TV Land, I'd watch it, but I'd always watch it alone. At that time, I was still living with my parents and once in awhile one or more of my siblings would move back home (from college or in between houses and such). Anyway, I'd watch my shows by myself. No one wanted to watch them with me. I watch other classic TV shows from the 60s and 70s. Now, I have my fiance to watch TV with and he likes all the shows that I like (including the Waltons). He got me into the 60s shows like The Twilight Zone and The Andy Griffith Show. Well, he remembered all of my shows growing up and he already liked them, so I couldn't show them to him. :) But before, I too wished I could go back in time. Now, I still would like to go, but only to visit. I love to study the Great Depression and WWII eras. I'm glad I have someone to watch TV with now. It got tiring watching it by yourself. I'm glad I found these boards too. There's a lot of nice people here.
