I have published three books on Lulu now--one of my own, one of my uncle's which I re-published for him, and just this week an anthology for my writers' group. I have been very pleased with them. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have if you email me.

And in response to the original question, when I first watched The Waltons as a teenager, I don't remember taking particular notice of John-Boy with respect to his writing. When I started watching it again on reruns in 2001, after I became a writer, I was amazed at all the writing-related storylines, and they definitely inspired me. Still do!
