It's nice to know there are so many of us on here. I haven't been published, but I'm always willing to offer support and words of encouragement to any writer who asks. Perhaps we could all encourage each other from time to time;)
I've been writing since I was eleven, and John-Boy was a huge inspiration to me as a child. More than anything, he taught me a great work ethic: Never give up!
Now-a-days, I find inspiration all over the place! But, it's been nice rediscovering the "roots" of my writing through the Waltons. It reminds me of the most important rule of writing ever: Write what you know!
