There are two scenes that make me cry...no matter how many times I see them. One was mentioned already...when Mrs. Brimmer reads the Bible in German.

The other is when Jason goes up on the mountain to decide on joining his buddies in the war or finish college. He's up on the mountain and is talking to Grandpa (who has passed away) saying "...I don't know how I fit in a world like this."

I'm not sure if that is the exact wording, but that scene always touches me.
