I grew up in Virginia. Have been married for almost 31 years. My husband and I met while we were both in the U.S. Army. We retired from the army to Virginia in 1993. He's now a school teacher and I'm a budget analyst. We have 3 children and 1 grandchild. We live on a farm in an extremely rural area and commute to work. At various times we raise chickens and pigs along with a huge garden. I can most of what comes out of the garden. My hobby is quilting and sewing. We've just recently been trying to do more traveling since our kids are grown and out of the house and we plan trips around visiting them.
