Subject: Just wondering

After reading some of the posts here I have found it most interesting as to the different jobs, interests and ways of life a lot of you have. It just amazes me how The Waltons have brought so many people from so many different walks of life together. So, I was just wondering, if it isn't too personal if you would share a little info about yourselves? I grew up in the same area I was born in. I grew up a country farm girl with a passion for animals, especially horses. I have one sister. My grandmother died when I was 4, but my grandfather was my Zeb Walton. Like Zeb he wore old straw hat, overalls, loved gardening and fishing, etc. I have been married 34 years, no children. My husband is a veterinarian, and I own a pet/livestock supply store. We have 34 horses and 6 dogs. I like to farm with my draft horses, but I also have a horsedrawn carriage service and do a lot of weddings, etc. I am also a police volunteer. And, in my spare time we have schools to teach people how to harness, drive, and work with draft horses. I help a friend in MS who has a school for learning to farm with draft horses too. Was that enough information? Probably more than you wanted to know! :) Oh, yeah, I also enjoy riding my four-wheeler, dirt bike and Harley.......Now does that sound like a "Walton" person, or what?!
