I'd define foreign substance as "a toilet brush"

But there's also a slight problem that sometimes happens when you start burning off fat: you release a bunch of fat-soluble stuff back into your system. I've heard anecdotes of mercury poisoning due to people getting low-levels of exposure, which was all well and good because it kept getting trapped up. But once the fat started melting off, a larger amount was reintroduced back into their systems.

So if anyone's thinking of fasting, make sure you go nuts with drinking the water. And if you've got existing problems with your liver or your kidneys, you probably shouldn't be fasting anyhow.

Just sayin', is all.
