Hi everyone! I'm an artist living in Tiverton, with a studio in Warren. I would love to explore/paint Prudence!!! An artist friend of mine asked if I could find out 1) if there are 'facilities' on the island, should we decide to come paint your beautiful corner of the world, and 2) if there were places to purchase cold drinks, etc. Do you hate people who come and invade you? We are very respectful of property and nature, and want only to experience and take away a few beautiful paintings...

I have not been to Prudence in about 8 years. I miss it a lot. I think this is a great web site for people who are not able to make it to the island. I have noticed that is isn't updated very often. If there was something I could do to help keep this site updated please let me know.

Just wondering if anyone had any useful information about lobstering around prudence island. I live right on the water on the east side of the island a couple streets before the landfill.

Well I was wondering if anyone had any lobster pots they could sell me for a decent price. It doesn't have to be metal, just something that will work.

Also I understand the permit is $40. Does anyone know how many pots that covers?

thanks.

Hi,

I'm from Bristol, RI. Decades ago, as a kid, there was little or no prohibition to camping out on the shore of the north end cove. Is this still the case?

Is there any place on the shores of Prudence where a small sailboat can moor and spend a quiet night camping ashore?

Plan to be sailing in area next weekend. Any help or suggestions for shoreline camping anywhere in are much appreciated.

private landowner with heart of gold?

please let me hear from you. thanks.

Steven

Subject: summer activities on Prudence Island?

I will be in Providence with my two children in August and wonder if Prudence Island is a place for activities such as hiking or swimming. It looks like a beautiful, peaceful place but I can't seem to find anything on the internet that says what visitors go there to do in the summer. Thank you!
