Last year was such a blast at Mrs. Globe that I decided to come back and join in the fun again :) I was Mrs. Central States in 2008 and this year I'm Mrs. Missouri. I live in Branson, MO and my home is always open to any of you ladies that might be vacationing here in Branson.

I also have some great news to share. Last week I was choosen as a finalist in Eccoci search for the face of Eccoci. Here is what Eccoci says about their search...

Dear Globe Friends,
Thank you to all of you who have send well wishes to my and many prayers. I love you guys. I had quite a scare. (Ruptured Tubal Pregnancy). I also had about three units of blood. Quite scared I was at an anesthesia conference in Destin Florida near our beach house. McClaine and I were by ourselves. The hospital staff was awesome! I thank God for them and their training. Friends Thank you so much for your friendship and for all your care and concerns on facebook and emails. I see the board is full of new faces and old friends and I miss you guys! I'm moving to Mexico City in July 2009 and am interested in competing in the Mrs. Globe pageant system. What is the best way to get started? Are Americans living overseas allowed to compete, and which country would they represent (Mrs. North America?).

Hi everyone! I am extremely interested in competing in the Globe pageant this summer but do the the economy my financial resources are limited. I understand that it is possible to do fundraisers to help with the cost but can anyone give me realistic point of view of what I can expect to spend?

The website was a little confusing and isn't very clear on the exact cost of the entry fee.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping and praying that I can compete this summer but honestly it depends on the cost.

Congratulations Ladies, It is wonderful to come back and see after a 14 year absence, that the WIN Foundation and the Globe Pageants are as wonderful as when I had first became a part of the program. After healing through WIN she not only launched her life but also joined us as a teacher. Jessica Lim, Mrs. Singapore Globe 2008 and WIN's 2008 Ambassador for Christmas for Kids held a very successful fundraiser in Singapore and was able to bring Sunflower Chocolates to the children's home in Kharkov.









First, I must apologize for the delay in posting these photos. To be honest, I wanted to post so many more, it was difficult to narrow it down to the photos you see here. Our team arrived at about 10:00 am on a rainy, dreary day however; when we arrived we were met with more sunshine than we could imagine! We first visited with the youngest children in the home (the youngest boy was 2 years old) and these children were so loving! What we found were children who just wanted to be hugged and loved...they were so sweet! After this, we met with the older children who were ages 7 to 18. They gave us brilliant performances of various talents ranging from singing to break dancing...the western world is not so far away! From here, we engaged in an informal "tour" of the home; each child seemed to 'pick' one of us to give us a private tour of heir own...these kids were SO proud to show us their bedrooms, their art work and their cafeteria... it was truly heart-warming! As our team left this home waving and kissing so many of these kids ~ each of us immersed in our own thoughts ~ I leave you with this....

As we all enjoy the blessings we have here in our country and we embark on a season of celebration of families and friends; PLEASE keep in the forefront of your thoughts and prayers those who are less fortunate and struggle each day to make a living....especially the children.

Thank you to Iryna for an amazing tour of her home country and thank you for being the Mrs. Globe we have all hoped for!

I wanted you all to know that Kristen and I met this weekend at the St. Patrick's Day Parade. My name is Gary Howard, I am with the Plumbers Union Local 130 Chicago. Kristen is one of the most delightful informative people that I have ever met. She is outgoing and very easy to speak to and a great listener . I have traveled all over the world and love to talk and get to know people. Kristen really cares about her work.
I will have her on my list of one of the nicest people I have ever spoken to.

I feel like it's been forever since I've been on here but I wanted to get on and update you all on my life and say that there are so many of you that are still a part of Globe and WIN that I love and miss so much. I know not all of you know me but I know you will understand the connection that we all have after being a part of this organization.

This has been a great year for my family as we added little Christopher in March. He's a big, happy boy. Destiny is a great big sister and amazes me everyday. I'm currently working on my Master's for Online Teaching and hope to create a course for American Sign Language that will be offered online and then we can travel or do whatever we want whenever we want! So, that's me now.....I hope you are all doing well and I'd love to hear from you.
