Hi Globe Alumni. As the Ambassador for the Christmas for Kids project, I am excited to say "Tis the Season!" The launch of the Christmas for Kids charity is a tremendously exciting day for us. For only USD$100 you can help make a difference to the life of an orphaned child. Above we have posted all about the special home for children in the home country of our Mrs. Globe Iryna, who has carefully selected this needy outreach. The needs of the orphanage are as follows:

- carpet
- Shoes (female )from 35 up to 38 sizes;
- Shoes( man's )from 37 up to 43 sizes;
- Curtains blue, light green, pink;
- Children's clothes.

There are 80 children in total.

Every donation will be recognized with a sunflower ornament on the Christmas tree at the Orphanage.

This is a fabulous campaign that crosses all nationalities and cultures. In Singapore, my business partner Linda Ruck and I, with the support of the community are committed to raising funds to brighten the lives of these children through the Xmas for Kids program.

I would like to thank the Mrs. Globe and WIN foundation for implementing such a worthwhile program. It is truly heartbreaking to imagine the life of these children who are orphaned and suffering from AIDS. The children face incredible hardships and challenges but if we can reach out to these children and make a possitive difference to even one of them it is a blessing from God.

To everyone who donates to this cause whether it is out of a sense of duty or compassion the act of giving love and warmth to a child in need brings richness of meaning to ones life. Thank you in advance for your support. If you are interested in joining us to help these children in need please visit our website at

It is my honour to have been awarded the Face of the Year 2008 for Christmas for Kids. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to fundraise for such a worthy cause and to help children suffering from Aids in the Ukraine. As a mother myself, I realise how blessed my child is to be living in Singapore when there are so many children suffering throughout the world. It doesn't matter where a child lives if they need our help we can make a difference to their lives. Funds I raise in Singapore for this wonderful cause will go to the underprivileged and AIDS children and we hope to give them a special Christmas in Ukraine. A day that brings them happiness, laughter and many smiles, and to let these children know that people really do care no matter what nationality, culture or nation. Most importantly to share the love of our creator God with these kids and to let them know that they are in our loving God's comforting hands. Stay tuned for our St. Nicolas Sunflower Parties coming on November 1!

Jessica

I competed at Mrs. America in 2007, and since giving up my state title last April, I've been going through some SERIOUS pageant withdrawl. I'm so impressed by how positive this voy board is--others are nasty, nasty, nasty!!! I have heard so many wonderful things about this pageant system, and this positive board makes me believe it's not all talk. Any advice anyone wants to share or reasons why I should choose this system??? THANKS!!! :)

On Friday, Sept 26th the Wall Street Journal had an article called "Lipstick Jungle." It talked about how women on campus especially in sororites encouraged other women into drinking and other compromising situations then spoke hurtful words about these actions. The men on campus were quoted to say they couldn't believe how women would "lower their own standards." It also stated if women didn't hold themselves to a certain standard, why should the men. I thought this article echo'd the sentiments of the Raise Your Standards presentation as well as the Right Living classes. I wish you all inner strength and power every day! Aloha from Hawaii.

First of all congratulations, putting the crowning moments on a video itīs a good idea.
I sow the promotional video of the year 2006 when Mada won, this video was especial with the contestants, the parties, the winnings, the show... Why donīt you do similar videos af the last years? I would love to see videos of the last winners on the contestant, itīs only a suggestion of a fun Globe.

Finally I have to tell you that I admire your work with the WIN Foundation. I regret my english, I try to do my best.

Great to see how enthusiastic everybody is about this years event. Congratulations to the new winners. Many of the dedicated contestants have set up mypsace and facebook links for photo galleries.

However, where are the pictures of the new winners on the home page? Help!

I got back to Atlanta around midnight last night....I was so excited from the week that I could barely fall asleep. I can't express how much I enjoyed the past 10 days and getting to know all of you. It was such a special group of women this year, we all seemed to just click.

Congratulations to all the crown winners, everyone there was a winner and I hope you all took home more than you came with.

I can't wait to work with Ms. U.S. and Ms. Globe, I think this is going to be an amazing year and that we will make a great team!

Hello all, my name is Carly, I have been following the Globe/WIN system for so many years; long before I was even married. The Globe system means the world to me! Anyway I am a 22 year old Mrs. who has been married for three years and I am wondering if someone my age is not what a Mrs. competition is looking for? I realize everyone has an equal chance but systems usually have an idea of the type of representative they would want. Also how many times can a person go to nationals. Like lets say I compete next year and I dont come home with the crown, am I able to apply again or is it a one time thing? Any younger Mrs. want to chime in on thier experiences? I love you all so much and am so glad that a system like this is out there for women!! XOXOXO Carly
