Date Posted: 18:28:04 01/27/04 Tue In reply to: Kibelle 's message, "Re: ~*~*arrival.*~*~" on 18:05:34 01/27/04 Tue ~*~*your attention was drawn back to the little dragon hiding off to the side. its head vanished beneath the surface of the water- which worried you a little. it re-surfaced behind some other bushes- quite a bit closer. this seemed to really bother Ki, as it again vanished and re-appeared closer than before. you tried to dismiss it as a foolish antic, and returned to your conversations after wisely moving everybody closer to the shelter. you let it slip from your mind. after a while you began to wonder about it- and just to see, you spun around. you were met with a large pair of violet eyes, practically standing on top of you. instinctively, you lashed out at it- and it vanished at your touch. you knew your mistake the moment you touched it. you jumped to your feet with everybody else, and stared into the now dark swamp- you had not realized that it was after dusk until you had actually tried to look. light flooded the area, quite like daylight, but from an artificial source. the four goddesses slammed up visible shields around the shelter as you saw something begin to float around above the water- they looked like the 'Angels' or White Spirits, long hair flowing, angelic faces shining- but they were pitch black, with shimmering red eyes. Black Spirits, emerged from the bottom of hell. they circled you idly for a while, and then reached out and touched the shields- and began to burn through them. Parie and Cronos were buisy repairing the damage while Alimiras and Akurei were buisy sustaining the rest of the shield. there were too many spirits- the shields were getting smaller and smaller. you were not sure who was talking, the voice was rather dulled by the sound of dueling energies- but you heard it none the less. not from somebody currently present- a voice you had heard elsewhere....*~*~ they come...... for the same reason that they came for me, they come for him now. do not drop the shields..... help is not long off..... he can not hear me, but tell him not to worry. and tell him not to leave the shields..... these creatures can not have that one..... it would mean the death of us all.... ~*~*you were confused for a moment, then realized that the voice was referring to Ki- one of the other Eyerlings was speaking to you. help was on the way...... so you would wait, until it got here. until then, though, you had to worry about the shields- and you knew better than to touch those spirits...*~*~ [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
