Like I said below, the pain in my shoulder can be so bad that it can make me feel sick to my stomach. I have VERY little range of motion, a lot of weakness, and A LOT of pain when I try to move my shoulder or try to use the left arm.

I asked Dr. Fowler, Radiation Oncologist, for an MRI of my shoulder. After looking at my shoulder and hearing how bad it gets, he agreed to schedule an MRI. It will be of my left shoulder, specifically the brachial plexus, and of my neck (the cervical spine).

The MRI's will be split up between two days. The first is scheduled for Tuesday, the 20th and the second is scheduled for Thursday, the 22th. I am very claustrophobic so I have to be sedated on Valiums before I get in the machine. Once I'm on the table they even put a cloth over my eyes. The best part is how relaxed I get from the Valiums. I always sleep great that night.
