 I also remember that date. I was 7 yrs. old. I knew 2 brothers who were killed in the war.Their names were on the memorial that use to be at the foot of Broadway. I can't remember thrir first names but the last name was Wolven. As far as I know their sister Marie is still living. All 3 graduated from NFA. We loved hearing from a cousin who fought in Europe, getting mail with some words blackened out.

So I join you as one of the older folks.
