The female catling watched Kurai kill the first mage with strained, feral glee playing all over her features. As the second one mounted his magical attack, she very calmly notched another arrow to her crossbow-string and shot him right between the shoulder blades. From close range, the man never had a chance when faced unprepared wtih such deadly accuracy. He fell dead with a startled cry. "Kurai," she moaned softly, dropping the bow, her face an inscrubable mask. "Pull this cursed thing out of my side and let's get the hell out of here." Clenching her teeth, she slumped back and concentrated on keeping iron control.
