DD, it has long been known by psychiatrists that depression, whether treated with drugs or not treated at all, will go away in about the same amount of time in nearly every case. Unless a patient is severely depressed for an extremely long time, it is just not worth the risk. These drugs can ruin lives. I know. Have you ever seen anyone with tardive dyskinesia? I have. It isn't pretty, and it isn't reversible.

Btw, I was told on numerous occasions that I would have to take those drugs for the rest of my life. I was also told that if I stopped taking them, it would kill me. That was pretty close to 20 years ago now. *lynx tap dances away*
