His head cocked and he too smiled when he heard Dane's faint purring. It did his heart good to see his brother so happy. Aye, Dane is to be a Da before the year ends I would guess. The smile turned into a grin, winking teasingly at Tiernan. I would tell ye how many eggs there are, but I want Dane to wait in suspense and be suprised. He knew how many there were from his examinations but that was a secret, despite the fact that Bree casted worried looks at him and made mutterings of how big clutches better not run in the family. His mind wandered over the thought of his wee nieces and nephews for a few moments before he looked back up to Tiernan. I know Dane agrees with me in this so I will tell ye now, if ye ever desire to leave Caithness, there is plenty of land for ye here at Lallybroch. Ye could have a corner lot connecting to Caithness even if ye would like, to keep ye close to yer clan but...if I understand correctly, ye are as much a member of our clan then the Rodericks. He shrugged a little. Ye would be granted all the privacy ye desire, I am a very...solitary...creature myself, with the exception of my own wee Mate. Speaking of which, his eyes lifted up and he scented the air for a moment as he opened his mind to figure out where his Mate was at, as she was suddenly being all explorative of the keep and lands. He smiled when he realized she was with the whelps, it seemed that whenever her or Bree weren't nearby, that's where they were. Heather didn't seem to mind at all, willing to take all the help she could get but Nathan was a bit stand-offish, both of the lasses - Bree and Evie - did not smell like normal Drakons. A maid walked back in with their food and he sat up a bit, always eager to eat. His eyes moved back to the pair after he had eaten a good deal before he cleared his throat. Dane, I am thinking mayhap I may need to put a wee spell on yer lass... He had already released the binding one. To get her to rest still for a few days.
