When he started rocking her, she started to relax, her eyes closing as she sniffled and just listened to his words. She snuggled closer, her cheek nuzzling against his shoulder before she closed her eyes and let out a shaky breath. "I don't feel very special." She stated softly, honestly. Her brow furrowed just a little as she reached her palm up to curl it against his bare chest, her eyes sliding shut with a soft sigh escaping her lips. She was silent for a few minutes before she spoke again, her voice sounding just a little bit hurt. "Durgan...he's afraid of me." She stated softly, she could sense it when he was healing her. She would never tell Dane that she knew it had been a choice for Durgan to heal her or let her die, because she didn't want to cause any problems between the brothers. "I don't think he wants Evie around me...." Her lower lip jutted out a little bit at that. She didn't want to be special if it meant everyone was afraid of her, if she couldn't have friends because she might accidently hurt them. "I don't even know what happened Dane. I just...I knew he was going to hurt Evie and the whelps and..." She shrugged helplessly, turning her deep blue eyes up to gaze at him. "I don't want to hurt anyone...." If she could have gotten away with not hurting the dragons that had been intent on harming her, she wouldn't have blown them up - or at least she didn't think she would have. It was horrible to not know what your own mind and body were capable of. Frightening, to be honest.
